The Student Success team collaborates with faculty and staff across campus in order to empower our students to develop skills and strategies that foster academic success and personal growth through purposeful interactions with the campus community.
Student Success exists to help students become members of their higher education community by enabling them to be confident in their abilities to learn and use their new knowledge to think critically about situations and problems.
We coordinate different services such as prevention, intervention, and supportive services with on campus and community resources to assist at-risk students and students who are experiencing barriers that are impeding their success.
The Student Success team collaborates with functional areas across the university to ensure our student’s development through academic and personal growth. Student Success assists students from their time at orientation and through progression of their degree. Our team supports HU students through connection to resources, first-year seminar, and programming to create an enriching experience. We are committed to fostering a healthy learning environment through connecting HU’s mission to the student experience.
