Students Helping Students
The Tutoring and Learning Center provides free tutoring, study groups, and academic workshops for all students enrolled at HU.
Access Brainfuse through your Canvas course. Select 'Live Help'.
Available for all HU students including graduate, undergraduate, and Philadelphia students. Most tutors available through Brainfuse have received a graduate degree.
HU Peer Tutors are undergraduate students that have excelled in their class and have been recommended by at least one faculty member.
Some students may prefer to work with a peer tutor that has completed the same class they are currently enrolled in.
To book a private one-on-one session, log into the Brainfuse suite within your course Canvas. Select 'Tutor Match' and schedule your appointment. Must book one day in advance.
We offer various study sessions and special topic sessions such as exam prep, time management, study strategies and more. Stay tuned to our event calendar and watch for digital flyers throughout HU for more information. No appointment necessary. Free and available for all HU students.
The Learning Center & Tutoring Coordinator oversees the Peer Tutoring, the Writing Lab, workshops, study groups, and test proctoring. This position serves as the point of contact for students seeking assistance for time management, study skills, and test taking strategies.
